- Q)” Where do I make payments? What is the most preferred way to pay?”
- A) I accept cash, check, e-check, venmo, PayPal (please select “friends & family”) and direct deposit. My most preferred method is venmo. Here is my link: venmo Beth Munce
- Q) “What do I do if my rehearsal/musical rehearsals/sports practice interfere with my voice lessons?”
- A) I will most definitely try to work with you! Please be sure to communicate your voice lesson schedule with your coach/teacher/theatre director. Most music/theatre directors want you to be in lessons and will try to accommodate your schedule. When you get closer to performance dates and cannot miss, please be sure to communicate with me your schedule in advance (i.e. at least 24 hours notice) and we can reschedule your lesson for another day.
- Q) “How do I schedule a make-up lesson”?
- A) Just send me a text or email and ask to schedule a make-up lesson! I keep track of student lesson attendance so, if you are ever curious of how many make-up lessons you have, just reach out and I will let you know. I offer make-up lessons most weekends by appointment and on weekdays when I have openings.
- Note: Please try to stay on top of your make-up lessons so you don’t get too far behind. Remember, per my contract, you are only allowed to accrue 3 make-up lessons at a time. This policy is in place so that you do not get too far behind.
- Q) “What do I do if I get sick at school and need to come home for the rest of the day?”
- A) Simply send me a text and let me know as soon as you can so I am not worrying about you. 🙂 The bottom line is communication; I understand that life happens, rehearsals are called last minute, emergencies happen, etc…I have pretty much seen and heard it all! I totally get it. As long as I receive adequate notice and I discern that the miss is eligible for a make-up, we can make-it up another time. If you do not show up and I am not notified at all or within a reasonable amount of time (and there is not a valid reason) the lesson will not be eligible for a make-up. Remember, if you cannot come, someone else can come at that time…bottom line is to communicate and I will work with you!
- Q) “What if I cannot come to my lesson time this week but can come at my friends’ voice lesson day/time?”
- A) This is great!! I love it when kids are proactive with their schedules like this! Be sure to confirm the swap with the friend and then let me know (in advance) so I know who to expect!
- Q)“When are payments due?”
- A) f you are on the monthly payment plan, payments are due on the first of each month. You are making 10 equal monthly payments or installments towards the total cost of the lessons. So, the first payment will be due August 1st and the last payment will be May 1st. Lessons will go until mid-June and there is no June payment due. I will send reminder emails for quarterly and bi-annual payments.
- Q) “What do I do if I have really bad allergies or lose my voice at the football game?”
- A)First of all, be careful at those football games!!
If you have total vocal loss it can take up to 6 weeks to get the full extent of your range back! We can still a lot of work done even if you have vocal loss or allergies (i.e. song interpretation, foreign language diction, etc…”) so please still plan to come! - Q) “Do you teach over the breaks?”
- A) There are no regularly scheduled lessons the week of Thanksgiving
, 2 weeks for Christmas
, or the week of Spring Break
. These holiday weeks are NOT part of your contracted 40 lessons and will not need to be made up. I will always send email reminders before these holiday breaks. However, I will often offer make-up lessons by appointment over the breaks as I am able.
